Zanzibar · from a Stone Town desk
The good kind of high.
Spice, dhow, reef. A private week from $2,840. We reply within a working day.

Three ways onto the island.

Spice & Stone Town
6 days · From $2,840
Alleys, carved doors, a spice farm that still farms, and nights that smell of grilled squid.

Mnemba After Light
5 days · From $3,120
Reef mornings, sandbar lunches, and a dhow that leaves when the water goes gold.

Safari Then Salt
10 days · From $6,840
Serengeti and the crater while the dust is the point — then Zanzibar so the body remembers water.
How we travel.

Small by design.
Groups stay small so the island still feels like an island. Private dhows, tables that are actually yours, safari vehicles that hold six.

Guides we know.
Dhow captains, spice farmers, crater rangers — people we work with year after year, not a rotating roster.

Pictures first.
We time arrivals for light, not for a checklist. If the channel is a lid, the dhow waits. If the lake is brown, we say so.
Guests, in their own words.
“They waited on the dhow until the channel went copper. Every other sunset sail we have been on left at the hour on the voucher.”
“Safari, then Nungwi. I did not understand the sequence until the first morning the Indian Ocean was in the window and the dust was gone.”
“Jozani at opening, no performance, a ranger who let the colobus be colobus. Then the north coast. That is the island I wanted.”

Dates can be a season. Headcount can be a guess. We send a first sketch, not a brochure.
