House of Wonders on the Stone Town waterfront

The company

Two desks. The island first.

Founded by Ms. Kansiime Gloria Carol and Dr. Kwesiga George, we take travelers into East and West Africa — wildlife, cultures, landscapes, entertainment — while the parks and the people still stand. Sustainable, responsible, photographed first.

Kampala runs East Africa. Dakar runs the Atlantic. Zanzibar is the house we photograph: spice, dhow, reef. A sister company, Lake Kitandara Tour and Travel, has worked East Africa for thirty years. We use that network. We do not wholesale other people’s weeks.

  • Private dhow off Zanzibar

    Small by design.

Groups stay small so the island still feels like an island. Private dhows, tables that are actually yours, safari vehicles that hold six.

  • Spice farm, Zanzibar

    Guides we know.

Dhow captains, spice farmers, crater rangers — people we work with year after year, not a rotating roster.

  • Mnemba reef light

    Pictures first.

We time arrivals for light, not for a checklist. If the channel is a lid, the dhow waits. If the lake is brown, we say so.
